Abilene police stated in court documents that gang affiliations of two suspects may have been a factor in last week s stabbing and shooting of two men in north Abilene. The documents reveal more details about a confrontation that occurred in the early morning hours of  April 16 in the 2100 block of Burger Street. The first officer on the scene answering a call of a fight in progress and possible shooting found a man bleeding from head to toe at the corner of Ambler Avenue and Burger Street. The victim had been shot and stabbed, the documents said.  Other officers found a second victim with multiple injuries, believed to have been stabbed and shot, lying on the floor at a residence, the documents said.
