Capitol historical societys annual history symposium entitled reconstruction and the long reconstruction, 150 years toward freedom. Im the societys chief historian. You can call me chuck. But please dont call me the guy in charge because none of this could have happened without the involvement of so many here in the society. Its really very much an all hands onboard kind of operation. Taking charge of the logistics and influencing much of the content is the societys director of historical programs.
