When it was over, a Security Guard, a Police Officer, and suspect were all wounded. Less than two hours ago, d. C. Police chief cathy lanier announce the frightening kidnapping, rolling it to maryland. Alison the kidnapping took place on third and p streets at 5 30 tonight. From there the suspect drove to the u. S. Census bureau where a Security Guard was shot while approaching the car. Leon our coverage begins with tom roussey, live where it all ended near 11th and h streets northwest. Tom it all started with the armed kidnapping, about a mile and a half from here. Then it goes to Prince Georges County then back here, a giant police chase. It all ended here on h street.
