WEST SENECA, N.Y. A West Seneca woman is facing several charges, including assaulting a police officer, following an incident Friday night.
The West Seneca Police Department says patrol officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Burch Avenue around 11 p.m. The officers were able to locate the victim upon arrival; she had safeguarded herself in a lower apartment.

WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WKBW) â A woman is facing several charges after police officers were attacked by a dog in West Seneca, resulting in an officer shooting the dog.
Authorities say they responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at home on Burch Avenue in West Seneca late Friday night.
Upon arrival, West Seneca police say 34-year-old April Gorman was threatening to harm herself and others along with damaging property inside and outside the home.
