The Social Networks committee promotes interdisciplinary researches among social science, information theory and computer science. The main scope of the committee is to encourage study and research activities that answer the very fundamental questions in human and telecommunication networks
“It’s a place of limitless imagination.” This was the comment made by Professor Burak Kantarci from the University of Ottawa (uOttawa) regarding the Faculty of Engineering’s new Smart Connected Vehicles Innovation Center, which was inaugurated in October.
The Faculty of Engineering’s new Smart Connected Vehicles Innovation Centre, located in uOttawa’s Kanata North campus, will focus on problem-solving issues related to the connectivity, physical and cyber security, decision making and sustainability of autonomous vehicles.
The new uOttawa Kanata North Smart Connected Vehicles Innovation Centre is an open access space for students, researchers, the CAV community and uOttawa’s partners to convene and collaborate.
The Centre is led by uOttawa associate professor and leading researcher, Dr. Burak Kantarci and staffed by a team of graduate students, post-doctoral fellows and researchers, all focused on application-based R&D.
