The Buoye Omuso Brown Major House of Finima in Bonny kingdom, Rivers State has distanced itself from a group known as The Finima Renaissance led by a man named Samuel Brown.
The Finima Renaissance had released a statement saying the Nigeria LNG had failed Finima people.
However, in a statement on Monday signed by the acting chairman of the Council of Wari-Alapu Wari-Alabo Inima Brown and the council’s secretary Wari-Alabo Airigha Goni-Brown, the Finima community restated its cordial relationship with NLNG.
“Our attention has been drawn to a press release on the above subject purported to have been issued and signed by one Samuel Brown as the convener of an unknown group calling itself ‘The Finima Renaissance,’” the statement reads.
