Plans for new cycle link between Woodley and Reading PLANS TO make a new cycle link between Woodley and Reading have been in talks recently, the Wokingham council has announced. More than 600 responses were received by the Wokingham Borough Council since the three potential routes wee first proposed, and the council is now looking to improve cycle paths between Woodley and Reading as a response. The first section of the new route, set to cost £4 million alone, is expected to be completed by Spring 2022. The funds to build the new route will be sourced from the Department for Transport s Active Travel Fund.
