ST. GEORGE The West Virginia Division of Highways has announced the temporary closure of Tucker County Route 11/2, also known as Relief Hill Road, near St. George. The closure will occur at milepost 0.02, approximately 2.5 miles north of West Virginia Route 72.
The roadway will be closed to all traffic beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday, April 21, until Monday, April 26. The closure is required for a drainage structure replacement.
The traveling public is advised to use an alternate route during this project.
Also as part of this project, the DOH will be temporarily closing Tucker County Route 13, also known as Bull Run Road, near St. George. The closure will occur at milepost 2.47, approximately 2.47 miles north of West Virginia Route 72.

¯ A patrolman responded Dec. 8 to an address on Montgomery Street in reference to marijuana and some paraphernalia that were located in an alleyway. The items were collected and will be destroyed.
¯ A traffic stop was initiated Dec. 9 in the 300 block of Pike Street on a Chevy truck with no visible license plate. Jessica Dawn Drake was identified as the passenger who had an active warrant through Marietta Police Department for contempt of court and a warrant through Washington County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear. Drake was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
