近日，总面积达1600平方米、内设10个功能室和露天平台的布吉街道文化馆正式揭牌迎客，为辖区居民开展综合性业余文化活动提供了又一个好去处。
布吉街道文化馆位于东方半岛社区石芽岭公园内，总面积为1600平方米，内设少儿活动室、多功能厅、多功能室、美术创作室、舞蹈室、乐器室、老年人活动室、音乐室、书法室等10个功能室和露天活动平台，并面向群众免费开放。未来，该文化馆将承担布吉辖区公益性文化艺术服务、社会艺术教育、群众文化活动、文艺作品创作、文化交流活动、文化志愿服务及非物质文化遗产保护和利用等重要文化职能。
