Outgoing Prime Minister Mark Rutte will travel to Israel after his visit to Qatar on Wednesday to talk with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Rutte announced it in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday afternoon. This will be his second visit to Israel since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas on October 7, 2023.
At least nine Dutch people are stuck in the Gaza Strip, according to the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as reported by NOS on Friday. This involves two families, both of whom wish to leave.
