ron mott live in vancouver. ron, thank you so much. finally, i would like to pay tribute to a composer whose name you ve probably never heard of, but whose music is part of the fabric of our society. leo arneaux was born in france, and em grated to the united states and began working in hollywood. he wrote the music for several forgettable films, like this one, ice follies of 1939. in 1958 he wrote a simple but majestic piece called bugler s dream. abc picked up the music in the 1960s. nbc followed suit in the 80s and gave it a boost with the help of a more famous composer named john williams. you see, bugler s dream is more commonly known in the television era as the musical theme for the olympic games.
