Respects to george floyd. Today was George Floyds public visitation at a church in houston, which is where mrmr. Mr. Floyd grew up. At one point, the line to get into that visitation got so long it snaked around the building and into the parking lot. There were 200 people in line before the doors even opened. See those red tents there . Thats the red cross. It was so hot they were handing out water to people waiting in line because they were worried about peoples health. They were worried about heatstroke. Mourners turned up to pay their respects today had their temperatures checked at the door. They only let small handfuls of people into the church at a time to encourage social distancing. Everybody was required to wear a mask. But even with the heat, even with the inconvenience of the pandemic, members of the public waited patiently in line, donned their masks, and entered the church for the final opportunity to pay their respects to mr.
