Attorneys representing survivors and a family member of one of the victims who died in the racist mass shooting in a Buffalo grocery store last year have filed two lawsuits
The gunman who killed 10 Black people and injured three others in the May 14 racist mass shooting at the Jefferson Avenue Tops Market was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole on Tuesday.
The store, built about twenty years ago, took away the 'food desert' label from the Masten District community. The next closest grocery store is about two miles away.
