Vineland Police Department will host a National Night Out event from 5 to 9 p.m. Aug. 3 at Vineland High School at 2880 E. Chestnut Ave.
The event will feature a K-9 demonstration, music by Eleven Eleven, a helicopter display, food and drinks, exhibitors, a car show and a firework finale.

MILLVILLE
Millville Police Department, in partnership with the City of Millville, Millville Recreation Department and other local organizations, will host a National Night Out event from 5 to 9 p.m. Aug. 3 in the field behind Lakeside Middle School at 2 N. Sharp St.
The event will feature games, activities, food and drinks, face painting, a dunk tank, exhibitors, a K-9 demonstration, a helicopter display, entertainment, fireworks and more. The first 1,500 guests will receive a free meal ticket.

A message that Brenda Phillips, the founder of the South Jersey youth empowerment non-profit, WeCare, often reiterates is “I am someone who fortunately but unfortunately has a story for everything.” She is someone who didn’t become a product of the negative environment she grew up in, but instead used it to fuel her passions, and become a person that would inspire others to make it through their own trials and tribulations.
