SISON, Pangasinan: The local government here has asked the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) or the Provincial Board to help them collect extraction fees from La Union-based quarry operators who extract sand and gravel in this town. Gersam Magno, head of the Sison municipal planning and development office, told the SP during its regular session on Monday, January 8, that this town is losing millions of pesos in extraction fees to the La Union quarry operators.
