Pregnant women, the elderly, and disabled individuals face arduous challenges when accessing diagnostic centers and clinics in various locations, particularly in multi-story buildings without proper facilities. Climbing multiple flights of stairs causes physical strain and discomfort, exacerbating health conditions. Inadequate restroom facilities and limited accessibility compound the difficulties faced by patients. Some diagnostic centers have begun offering home services to alleviate these problems, but they remain costly and are limited in scope. The Director of Health Services Kashmir has expressed a commitment to addressing these issues following awareness of the problem.
