Both of the Greater Columbus Convention Center’s headquarter hotels offer a completely new look for the approximately 1,700 on-site rooms. A 468-room expansion of the Hilton Columbus Downtown will bring the total number of convention hotel rooms on the property to 1,000 and total meeting space to 75,000 square feet. Budd Dairy Food Hall brings variety of restaurants to Italian Village

Budd Dairy Food Hall is capitalizing on a growing trend: offer a diversity of vendors featuring mostly simple, inexpensive fare and a spacious, cafeteria-style place to sit and grab a drink. The food hall, part of the locally based Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ portfolio, opened Wednesday at 1086 N. Fourth St. in Italian Village. The first-floor center of the space is occupied by Comfort Kitchen, Boni: Filipino Street Kitchen, Borgata, Cousins Maine Lobster, Cluck Norris, Modern Southern Table and Stauf’s, bookended by Pokebap and Tacos Rudos. A frequently rotating pop-up space, called the Hatch, is now occupied by the Cheesecake Girl.

Columbus Monthly This week, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants and local developer Kevin Lykens were finally able to welcome the public to their big Italian Village project, Budd Dairy Food Hall. Located in a newly restored historic dairy building at 1086 N. Fourth St., Budd Dairy features 14,000-square-feet of dining and drinking space that spreads across two floors and features a rooftop deck. The venue offers three bars, with CMR handling all aspects of service for the space, and 10 vendors (or “chef partners”) ranging from Filipino street food to Southern fried chicken.
