104 years young
Bucksport’s oldest living citizen honored with Boston Post Cane
BUCKSPORT At 104 years of age, Ruth Bunt is only housebound because of the pandemic. So, Town Council Chairman Peter Stewart, North Bucksport United Methodist Church Pastor Mike Morris, Town Clerk Jacob Gran and William Foster, director of the Bucksport Senior Center, crowded into Ruth’s screened-in porch to recite the proclamation that comes with the Boston Post Cane and share a few laughs.
