Jan 21, 2021 A group of demonstrators gathered at Revolution Hall in Portland Wednesday afternoon. Portland Police tried to remove weapons from the group and they swarmed the officers who left the area. Several dozen people started marching. When they reached the Democratic Party of Oregon office building they broke windows and tagged the building with Anarchist graffiti. The group was carrying Antifa flags and a banner that read: We Are Ungovernable. Portland Police followed the group to Buckman Park and arrested eight people. At about 8:00 p.m., people began gathering at Elizabeth Caruthers Park, 3508 South Moody Avenue. Portland Police gave public address announcements over a loud speaker including, This is the Portland Police Bureau. Roadways in the South Waterfront remain open to vehicular traffic.
