rachel: gen-z is known for bucking trends, and the latest is their relationship with their faith. for the first time in decades, more young women are abandoning religion than men. here to help us make sense of this exodus is gen-z voter caroline. so great to have you on. this is really fascinating to me because we have seen, of course, that religion is dropping off among young people. but traditionally we think about it with men pause that s what s been in the past. why are women moving away from religion? if. well, i think it s not only men and women, it s our generation as a whole, miss rachel. see, my generation has grown up in a curated world that is inundated with inawe a then disty, can and as a result of this, we lack meaningful purpose. we lack a true sense of identity. we are desperately searching for something veritable, something eternal, something real.
American drivers may not be buying sedans at the same rate as they used to, but we're still a long way from the death of anything that isn't an SUV or pickup.

The Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 weren’t exactly slouches when it came to processing power, but now a recent software update from Google has just given those phones a big boost in performance.
While Google’s April software patch for Pixel phones is technically listed as a security update, it actually contains a number of improvements such as upgraded image quality when snapping pics with select third-party camera apps, better support for VPNs, and bug fixes to prevent some Pixels from freezing during startup. However, the most important changes in this patch for Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 owners are new “performance optimizations for certain graphics-intensive apps and games.”

Google’s regular software updates have become one of the best parts about its Pixel phones. I admit this month’s new feature drop isn’t a game-changer, but it does comes with some handy new additions for underwater shooting, the Recorder app, adaptability, and more.
For people hoping to take their Pixel on bigger (deeper?) adventures, Google Pixel engineer José Ricardo Lima collaborated with Kraken Sports to add support for the Pixel to the company’s underwater Universal Smart Phone Housing, allowing you to use all your favourite Pixel camera features like Night Sight and Motion photos while swimming.
