Columbus, OH (WorkersCompensation.com) - The U.S. Department of Labor s Occupational Safety and Health Administration has conferred Alliance Program Ambassador status on Buckeye Service, Transmission, Exploration and Production Safety Network in recognition of the organization s collaborative relationship with OSHA and its commitment to addressing safety and health hazards in Ohio s oil and gas industry.
The ambassador alliance will continue developing effective awareness and education programs for the network s members on hazards such as heat stress, vehicle operations, air contaminants, chemical exposures, falls, electrical, caught-in/between and struck-by hazards. Participants will also share information on OSHA campaigns. First signed in September 2013, OSHA and the network renewed their alliance in November 2015 and February 2018.
