There are two new residents of Swimming Buck Farm near Horton and they’re pretty special. The farm owned by Kelley and Mark Ash is home to a herd of Dexters,
“Sugaring is a roller coaster from total discouragement to utter euphoria. Seems to go from one extreme to another,” said Lew Coty, co-owner of Nebraska Knoll Farm.
From your friends at the Stoneham Historical Society & Museum
This is the time of the year when the Stoneham Historical Society & Museum is typically poised for what is one of our most important and popular programs. Every third grade classroom, their teacher and chaperones embark on a scheduled Field Trip trek to the Museum and Ten Footer located at 36 William St. in Stoneham.
They are cheerfully welcomed and invited inside the museum for a chance to briefly step back in time.
Under the excellent guidance of the Third Grade School Program Coordinator, Cheryl Werlin and her amazing cadre of retired educators and other experienced volunteers, students are divided into smaller groups and receive a tour of the many exhibits which also includes a Scavenger Hunt.
