East Kingston girl, 15, dies after crash in Friday s storm Staff report EAST KINGSTON  A 15-year-old girl died Sunday from injuries sustained in a Friday mid-day motor vehicle crash amid a wintry storm, according to New Hampshire State Police. Police did not immediately release the identity of the girl, who was a passenger in a Toyota Camry driven by a 17-year-old girl, also from East Kingston. The collision occurred about 11:37 a.m. Friday, April 15, on North Road in East Kingston near the Kensington town line. The 2010 Camry was traveling northbound when its operator lost control and crossed into the southbound travel lane, police said. Upon crossing into the opposite lane, the Camry was struck on the passenger side by a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado traveling south, police said.

The impact of the crash sent both vehicles off the roadway, police said. The 15-year-old girl was initially taken to Portsmouth Hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries. She was later transferred to Boston Children s Hospital, where she died from her injuries on Sunday, police said. Both drivers involved were taken to Exeter Hospital. The driver of the Camry suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Silverado, identified as 22-year-old Bryce Perreault, of Kensington, was evaluated for injuries and released. Police say weather appears to have contributed to the collision, but all aspects of the incident, including the cause, remain under investigation. At the time of the crash, there was a mixture of rain and snow on the road, with noticeable accumulation on the roadway surface.
