We are following breaking news in the east bay. Crews are battling a fire in crockett. We are getting word that they are fighting it defensively now so this is the structure fire in a residential neighborhood pretty close to the waterfront and the carquinez bridge. So if you are on interstate 80 you may see smoke or flames. The exact location is at jackson and loring avenue. They are doing Traffic Control in the area. Less than a mile from the carquinez bridge. Initially, they had to shut down the Union Pacific Railroad Track in that area. They were able to reopen the tracks and again this is a live look at the carquinez bridge.
