The kick-off times of East Anglian derbies, regular rail disruption and how owner Marcus Evans goes about choosing a new manager were among the questions put to MD Ian Milne and other members of Town’s backroom team at the now annual Meet the Club event staged as part of the Supporters Club’s AGM in Legends at Portman Road on Thursday evening.
TWTD will be live-blogging from this evening s Supporters Club AGM, which once again takes the form of an open evening where fans get the chance to meet and question management representing many areas of the club, among them MD Ian Milne.
Town have confirmed that manager Paul Hurst has been sacked, owner Marcus Evans believing that it “is in the best interests of the club” to appoint a new boss with ex-Norwich manager Paul Lambert set to be his successor. Assistant manager Chris Doig, fitness coach Nathan Winder and physio Chris Skitt have also left the Blues, while academy head of coaching and development Bryan Klug will take caretaker charge for Saturday’s game at Millwall.
