Louisa County Compensation Board recommends salary increases

WAPELLO A recommendation to provide Fiscal Year 2022 salary increases of 2 or 7% for Louisa County elected officials was approved Monday by the Louisa County Compensation Board.
Under the recommendation, which will be forwarded to the board of supervisors for action, the 7% increase would go to auditor Sandi Elliott, treasurer Vicki Frank, recorder Tammy Hayes and attorney Adam Parsons.
The 2% boost was recommended for supervisors Randy Griffin, Brad Quigley and Chris Ball; and sheriff Brad Turner.
The auditor, treasurer and recorder’s salaries have been set at the same amount for years and are currently at $55,386. Parsons’ current salary is $68,755, while the supervisors all earn $29,055. Turner’s current annual salary is $78,104.
