Allegiant Air will debut nonstop flights between Pittsburgh International Airport and Key West, Fla., beginning June 3.
“From the historic sights at Dry Tortugas National Park to the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum, Pittsburgh visitors have a lot to explore in Key West,” Drew Wells, Allegiant’s senior vice president of revenue, said in a statement. “We’re excited to connect these two great cities with affordable, nonstop service.”
Flights will operate every Sunday and Thursday.
This is the first nonstop route connecting the two cities, according to Bryan Dietz, vice president of air service development at Pittsburgh International.
“Allegiant continues to be a great partner in this region and has grown to be a leader in destinations served at Pittsburgh International Airport,” Dietz said in a statement.
