PINELLAS PARK â A 58-year-old man suffered serious injuries when he was struck by two vehicles June 3 while crossing 66th Street North in Pinellas Park.
Police responded to a crash about 9:15 p.m. and found a seriously injured pedestrian in the northbound lane of 66th Street North, just north of Bryan Dairy Road. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
Police say the driver of a 2013 Ford van, Kenny Valle, 31, of St. Petersburg remained on the scene; however the second vehicle did not. It was described as an older black, single cab pickup truck driven by a heavyset Black man about 50-years-old.

PINELLAS PARK, Fla. - Pinellas Park police said a pedestrian had serious injuries after he was struck by two vehicles, and one of those drivers fled the scene.
The crash occurred Thursday around 9:15 p.m. on 66th Street North near Bryan Dairy Road. Police said the pedestrian, a 58-year-old man, was crossing 66th Street N. when he was struck by both vehicles. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Police said the driver of the first vehicle remained on scene and was cooperating with investigators. However, the driver of the second vehicle fled and didn’t contact law enforcement.

On Thursday, the National Weather Service confirmed the tornado was an EF-2 with 125 mph winds.

PINELLAS PARK, Fla- â Clean up continues in Pinellas Park after an EF-2 tornado tore through and damaged more than two dozen buildings in an industrial park off of Bryan Dairy Rd.
Thankfully no one was injured.

PINELLAS PARK Thousands lost power and several buildings were damaged by a tornado, including a home that was severely damaged, Wednesday afternoon.
Amateur radio operators reported power poles split in half and four structures damaged in the Bayou Club when the twister came through around 3:50 p.m.
UPDATE: Pinellas Park police Captain Adam Geissenberger says most of the damage was concentrated in an industrial area between Belcher Road and 66th Street along Bryan Dairy Road. There s significant roof damage, there s significant intrusion into the structures due to falling trees and limbs, but we have not seen a complete structure collapse. He also adds that no injuries have been reported. As of 7:00 p.m., Duke Energy reports about 12,000 customers without power in an area bounded by Pinellas Park, Largo and Seminole.
