Wreaths Across America is best known for placing flags on the graves of U.S. veterans mid-December every year, and their aim is to educate the public about their sacrifices and honor those who have served. (Matica Bio), a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) specializing in the clinical and commercial production of cell and gene therapies, ceremonially broke ground today on its new 25,000 ft2 facility which will house its GMP virus production suites, development laboratories and company offices. The new building will be located in Providence Park at 2501 Earl Rudder Freeway in College Station. The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, February 23 at 10:00 am.   This unique museum on wheels could be coming to your hometown, to help honor local veterans and teach the community!   Wreaths Across America (WAA) is proud to announce the start of the 2021 national tour for its Mobile Education Exhibit (MEE). The MEE will hit the road this month in Maine and head Southwest towards Texas for both private and public scheduled events. “The goal of the Wreaths Across America Mobile Education Exhibit is to bring community together and teach patriotism while remembering the service and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes,” said Karen Worcester, executive director, Wreaths Across America. “However, over the last year, in light of the current health crisis, we feel this exhibit has taken on even more meaning by providing the opportunity for people to safely participate in something that is both educational and inspiring, while supporting and giving back to the communities it visits.”
