The brutal horror of at least 20 stray dogs recently being possibly poisoned and even burned to death is still fresh in the minds of residents of Pimpri-Chinchwad and now, yet another appalling crime against an animal has been reported from the twin towns within days. This time, a starving stray dog was tied up and cruelly beaten till it plausibly died by an auto rickshaw driver in Bhosari, triggering outrage not just among animal lovers, but also sundry area residents.
