There are 65 outbreaks of COVID-19 in New Brunswick’s long-term care and nursing homes as the province marks the first five days of lifted pandemic protocols.
Four more New Brunswickers who had COVID-19 have died, and the head of the New Brunswick Association of Nursing Homes says the virus is spreading faster than ever before in homes across the province.
New Brunswick’s Department of Social Development says the province is currently battling 65 outbreaks at long-term care facilities and homeless shelters across the province, including 40 special care homes and 16 nursing homes.
