Brunel Wealth has bought Bristol-based Academy Associates for an undisclosed sum as it continues with its growth plan.
Academy Associates principal Tom Jones has been transferred over to Brunel Wealth and will continue servicing his existing clients. Brunel Wealth, established in 2019 and authorised by the regulator.

Deal takes the firm’s funds under management to £240m
Brunel Group subsidiary Brunel Wealth has acquired Bristol-based Academy Associates Wealth Management for an undisclosed sum.
Academy Associates principal Tom Jones has joined Brunel Wealth and will continue servicing his existing clients while supporting the wider team.
The addition of Academy Associates takes Brunel Wealth’s funds under management to £240m ($335m, €276m).
The acquisition comes less than a year after the merger of North Star Wealth Management into Brunel Wealth.
