Jessica florez, kpix 5. Police are looking for the driver who plowed through the front of this home sparking a major gas leak all on raleigh drive around 7 am. Residents had to shelter in place as crews worked to repair the leak. As devin feeley reports, the homeowner is lucky to be alive. Reporter thats right. This ruptured gas main could have caused an explosion. Pg e crews are on the scene hours after the fact trying to repair damage from the truck that went barreling into this home. Bob brown was at the breakfast table. I was sitting there and i heard a huge explosion. Reporter he rushed outside and discovered a truck had smashed into the side of his house. Its on top of the gas meter. Reporter bob locked eyes momentarily with the driver. I went over there and the driver got out. I approached him and said stop and he just took off. Reporter he was barefoot and had a much bigger problem on his hands. He drove over the top of the gas main, broke the gas main so it was flowing freely,
Theres been an increase in a certain kind of fake bill not just in the city but across the bay area. Reporter one of the things you look for is a watermark. He says this year he has seen a marked increase in the number of customers trying to pay with counterfeit bills. I told them this is counterfeit. They said, i know who gave this to me, i will get it i will be back. This one is a 10 bill. Same thing. Also the watermark is not there. Reporter he says its getting harder to tell. He has taken an about 200 in counterfeit money. This year i see more frequently people coming with hundred dollar bills that are fak
