A small initiative started by a couple of Auckland siblings to help new migrants into New Zealand has come a long way from humble beginnings 25 years ago. The Bhartiya Samaj Charitable Trust, started by Jeet Suchdev and Roopa Suchdev in 1995, recently commemorated the charity s silver jubilee in Auckland with a host of dignitaries, community leaders and invited guests. Today, this caravan of love, hope and services has turned 25, a magnificent journey started with nothing but a commitment to love and serve, trust chair Jeet Suchdev said at the commemoration held at Trust Arena in Henderson.
