Brown County Commissioners are scheduled to meet Monday, March 1, at 9:00 am in Commissioner’s Courtroom, located on the first floor of the courthouse. The posted agenda is below.
1. Declare a Quorum and Call Meeting to Order
2. Prayer
3. Recognition of Special Guests and Presentations.
4. Citizen Comments (All speakers will be required to adhere to the rules of procedure, conduct and decorum adopted by the Court on August 12, 2019. Any disruptive, abusive, obscene, or disrespectful behavior will be terminated immediately.)
5. Consideration and approval of the minutes from the February 8th & 22nd, 2021
6. Consideration and approval of any Treasurer’s/Auditor’s Report.
7. Consideration and approval of payment of any bills needed.
According to the Department of State Health Services website,
Brown County is scheduled to receive 500 doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine this week, the week of February 22. The vaccine is allocated to the Brownwood/Brown County Health Department. In our immediate area, other allocations are as follows:
Callahan County – 100 doses to Resourcecare Clinic in Clyde
Coleman County – 100 doses to Coleman Medical Associates
Comanche County – 100 doses to Brookshire’s Pharmacy and 100 doses to Comanche County Medical Center
Concho County – 100 doses to CCH Pharmacy
Eastland County – 100 doses to Brookshire’s Pharmacy in Cisco
Erath County – 1,000 doses to Erath County EMS in Stephenville and 200 doses to Tarleton State University Student Health Services in Stephenville
According to information from the Texas Department of State Health Services website,
Brown County is scheduled to receive 200 doses of Moderna vaccine the week of February 15th. It is allocated to the Brown County Health Department.
In Abilene, the Taylor County Health Department Hub will receive 2,925 doses of the Pfizer vaccine. In San Angelo, Shannon Pharmacy is scheduled to receive 1,950 doses of the Pfizer vaccine.

Coleman County is scheduled to receive 100 doses of Moderna vaccine. The allocation goes to Coleman Medical Associates.
