Sign Up A beer garden at a popular Broughty Ferry pub has been refused by Dundee councillors. In total 25 letters of objection were received, including one from Broughty Ferry Community Council. A spokesperson for the pub said today they were “disappointed but not surprised” at the ruling, and questioned why the community council and councillor Craig Duncan had not contacted them prior to the meeting to discuss the plans. The stretch was closed on both occasions as part of the Spaces for People programme, introduced during the Covid-19 pandemic to allow social distancing for people out walking and cycling.
