Earlier this month, MMC randomly approached people in El Dorado and offered cash gifts, gift cards, payments for groceries and utilities and large tips for local restaurant workers. Batey was on her way out of town to visit a critically ill relative when she was approached by MMC at Brookshire s Fuel Center on North West Avenue.
