BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested and charged with assault and harassment in Brooklyn Sunday, police said. Avijit Boiragee, 33, was arrested just before 4 a.m. in Brooklyn’s 61st Precinct, which covers Sheepshead Bay and part of Gravesend, according to the NYPD.
