Brookline Arts Center to present ‘All About Us’ in Monmouth Park

The Brookline Arts Center will present their 2021 public art installation, “All About Us,” a collaborative project between local artist Ponnapa Prakkamakul and Fabrication Studio at Sasaki, in Monmouth Park, 86 Monmouth St., Brookline, through Oct. 31.
The installation is a sculptural pollinator garden. The sculpture is inspired by the landscape of the greater Boston area. The artwork is divided into three pieces that replicate the glacier movement that formed the geomorphology of the area. One side exhibits the underground conditions, showing intertwined layers of Boston’s puddingstone and blue clay together with other sediments. Another side features landscape scenes of the Brookline area, from the Fens to residential neighborhoods. Each piece contains a message selected and translated into braille by Amber Pearcy.
