Large police presence spotted in Cambridge Officers have put up police tape at the scene Updated A large emergency services presence has been spotted in Cambridge this afternoon (January 9). A member of the public spotted several police and ambulance vehicles at Glenalmond Avenue, Cambridge, which is a residential area near Brooklands Avenue and Hills Road. Photos from the scene show several of the cars and vans parked up, with some police tape already erected in the area. The witness said they first noticed the vehicles when they heard a siren at 12.40pm, by which time all of the first responders had arrived.
