Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Scott City wrapped up a tough week of competition Saturday afternoon, as Wichita Trinity was the third opponent to face the Beaver basketball teams this week. It would be a tough day as well for both Scott City teams, as the Lady Knights came out blazing in the first half with 58 points, en route to a 75-55 win, while the Trinity boys led from the get go, and pulled away for a 56-38 win.

Wichita Trinity came in without a win, but had two losses to solid teams in Garden Plain and Liberal. They took out their frustration early and often in the first half, as they raced out to a 24-12 first quarter lead, only to put up 34 second quarter points behind 63 percent shooting, to lead 58-24 lead at the break.
