Grand Opening of Birdsboro Seniors Club: Doors open 9 a.m. at St. Markâs Lutheran Church, 5 Brooke Manor, Birdsboro. Held on first and third Thursdays of the month. Bingo played on first Thursday and crafts on third Thursday. Home-cooked meal at noon. Club members who enjoy cooking encouraged to join in cooking. After lunch will be variety of activities. Day closes at 2 p.m. For transportation, call the church office at 610-582-8167. Anyone 55 years and over in the Birdsboro area invited to attend.

BIRDSBORO â St. Markâs Lutheran Church announced the grand opening of the Birdsboro Seniorâs Club at St. Markâs, on June 3, at 9 a.m. at its campus at 5 Brooke Manor in Birdsboro.
On Dec. 3, 2019, a committee of members of St. Markâs Lutheran Church met to discuss the impact of Encore moving its senior center out of downtown Birdsboro. After much planning, it was decided to offer a seniorâs club twice a month at the church featuring bingo, crafts a home-cooked lunch and afternoon activities including exercise and speakers.
Then the COVID epidemic hit and plans were altered.

Free flower planting activity for children: hosted by St. Markâs Evangelical Lutheran Church, Birdsboro during the Street Fair at Main Bird Park in Birdsboro from noon until 5 p.m. All children may plant a flower in a cup which will be then wrapped in foil.
