Reporter the explosion from inside this burning mobile home shook the ground and sent residents running to the streets to investigate. The flames were visible blocks away. I saw flames. Neighbors tell me this morning the home belonged to a man in his 50s named mike. He wore casts on his foot and may have had mobility issues. Crews made forced entry. We are in the western hells of belmont and of this is considered prime rattle snake territory. They normally like hiding in wooded area andrea serene and try to avoid humans. Coiled up and hidden in the small space was this 3 foot long rattle snake. It bit nancy 74yearold husband as he reached for a tool he dropped.
