The NYPD is searching for a man they say followed and robbed a 19-year-old female in a residential building in the Bronx Wednesday night at approximately 9 p.m.
Gunfire broke out just around 6:30 p.m. near the corner of East Tremont Avenue and Southern Boulevard in the West Farms neighborhood, according to NYPD.
Police say as she was being taken into custody for violating an order of protection, she was able to slip out of her handcuffs and walk out of the 44th precinct.
