Look Back At Every Denver Broncos Super Bowl Game
Well, let s face it.it was a very dark and dreary Super Bowl history from the birth of the big game in January of 1967 until the January of 1998 when John Elway hoisted the franchise s first Lombardi Trophy.
Prior to Super Bowl 32 in San Diego when the Broncos knocked off the Packers, Denver had appeared in 5 Super Bowls (which is great) but managed to lose each and every time.and in blowout fashion. In fact, the Broncos are saddled with the two biggest blowout losses in Super Bowl history (vs 49 ers Jan.1990 and Seahawks Feb. 2014) Up until the Broncos won their first title, John Elway s career (albeit still a very successful and Hall of Fame worthy) had something missing.winning the BIG game.
Though his path ahead regarding football may be in question, his path ahead regarding his personal life is right on track.
Maybe it s because I m a bald man in my 50 s that Phillip Lindsay s hair is a matter of concern for me. But, you have to admit, his big afro has become iconic. I ve loved it.

In his rookie season with the Denver Broncos, he not only became the first undrafted player with 100+ scrimmage yards in each of their first two games in NFL history, but he was also the first rookie ever to be voted to the Pro Bowl.
Throwback Thursday: Tim Tebow Leads Broncos Past Steelers in OT
Ok, I m putting this out there right now, as a Steelers fan, this hurt a LOT. Even though the Steelers were 12-4 and the Broncos were 8-8, since Denver won their division, they got to host the AFC Wildcard game.
The Steelers were coming off a Super Bowl loss to Green Bay the year before and there was a lot of hope of returning to the big game in the 2011.
This certainly wasn t the Broncos most memorable season by any means. But this playoff game certainly goes down in Broncos lore back in the first season of old coach John Fox.

It s not a secret to anyone that part of the fun of watching on Super Bowl Sunday is to check out the hilarious commercials that are on while the game is in timeout. According to WXYZ, this will be the first time in 37 years that Budweiser will not be promoting their brand during the game. Taking the same stance as other beverage giants Coke and Pepsi as they will all refocus their efforts in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.
