Cherish our history on Clean Up Australia Day
Tidy Towns and Council are encouraging locals to get involved in Clean Up Australia Day to beautify one of the city’s most historic sites.
The Broken Hill Cemetery Clean Up will be held at the cemetery between 7am-10am on March 7.
The clean up will target litter and debris built up alongside grave sites, laneways, and in the surrounding environment.
“Come and join our Clean Up Australia Day event to help keep our environment free of litter, and show respect to past generations by beautifying the resting place of those that have passed away,” said Tidy Towns Chair and Deputy Mayor, Christine Adams.
