Three area high school seniors – from Ashland, Holmes and Wayne counties – will be honored as Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award winners during a virtual program April 27.
Ty Williams, from Hillsdale High School; Brogan Steimel, from West Holmes High School; and Benjamin Haven, from Wooster High School are the 2021 award recipients.
The Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award program was established in 1989 by the Ohio Educational Service Center Association to promote student achievement and recognize outstanding students, according to a news release from the Tri-County Educational Service Center.
Every year, one senior from each of Ohio s 88 counties receives the honor.
