SOUTH DUNDAS, Ontario – A fair wind and a following sea have not helped get Theodore the Tugboat to his ultimate destination of Lake Ontario very quickly. The retired children’s television star turned conservation ambassador set sail from Halifax on  June 10, on his way to Hamilton. The 65-foot reproduction tugboat has slowly made his way through the Canso Strait and made several stops along his route so far in the Gulf of St. Lawrence and lower St. Lawrence River. Theodore is set to arrive in Montréal on July 2. From there he will sail up through the St. Lawrence Seaway stopping in Cornwall July 6, Prescott July 8, Brockville July 10, and Kingston July 12. After a stop in Toronto, he is set to arrive in Hamilton July 18. All scheduled stops are subject to weather conditions
