Two bodies were found near the boat. The county Sheriffs Department identifies them as 61yearold diane kelly of windsor and 59 yearold richard hare graves junior of santa rosa. The search for the two people has been suspended. The coast guard never received a distress signal. Betty yu tells us he ran straight into serious trouble, the chief. Reporter a day in the office, not for taking down a bad guy on the street, but he is a top cop and a Department Spokesperson said he did what any officer would have done this morning. A 26yearold san jose man made the bold escape all while his hands were still in cuffs. Police say Hector Flores arias managed to slip out of the station through the holding cell door which should lock automatically. He slipped his handcuffs around from behind before scaling a tall barbed wire fence, but then he ran into a problem, the police cliff in the parking lot. A Department Spokesperson says Larry Esquivel immediately saw that something wasnt right when he pulled in past the gates for work this morning. Reporter good morning. This is something that people have been worried about for years, for months, increasingly so as we got to this point. The emergency room at Doctors Medical center is still open. You can still walk in. Its going to be open for another couple of hours until 7 a. M. This closure as i said has been a long time coming. Doctors Medical Center has been struggling financially for years. It primarily serves low income and uninsured patients. The hospital limped along with stopgap funding over the last several years and doctors who worked here did not want to give up. Time and time again, people go out of their way, give up a break to take care of a patients problem. You wouldnt believe the miracles weve pulled off.
