Portion of Lafayette Street closed for repair

West Lafayette Street in Sturgis will be closed to thru-traffic Friday between Broadus Street and North Centerville Road, as paving to repair the Abbott Nutrition water main work is completed.
All driveways on West Lafayette between Broadus and Centerville may be accessed from Broadus Street, city officials said.
A detour route will be in place during the closure, using Progress and Broadus streets.
